Ripstop is a material created by the technique of strengthening the fabric by adding an additional, stronger fiber at fixed intervals. It is characterized by a convex grid and in the case of diamond ripstop these are rhomboids. It is very resistant to tearing thanks to which it is used in the production of, for example, hammocks, flags, balloons or kites.
